silk button

Sometimes a girl just needs a little pick-me-up on rainy days...well, this girl needs one almost all the time! hahaha.  I usually crave a cup of joe mid afternoon, but every time I stop by Myung-dong, Silk Button is what hits the spot.  This cute, stand alone shop in the heart of the Myung-dong shopping district, is a pleasant addiction.  All their earrings, hair pieces, and buttons, are made with silk scarves...some with vintage, hard to find silks.  Truly unique in every form, each item has its own character, and holds its own personality.

I discovered Silk Button last winter, and I would always get compliments from both men and women, about almost every earring I wear! Prices starting at 4,000 won, seriously? Difficult to play the mind game with yourself about 'do I really need this? do I have too much jewelry?' blah blah blah...you already know the answer as soon as you walk in.  So the answer is 'yes, you do need the silk buttons, and a girl can never have too much jewelry!

Perfect for gifts, perfect for just dropping a thank you to your girlfriends, and perfect for picking one out for yourself...on a rainy day:)
