The comfort food of all times: Tacos!!!
My Soul food...in search of the best tacos, I apologize that this post features just Chicago and Los Angeles. I didn't realize how difficult it is to find descent tacos, until you actually leave the U.S.! My short trip to the states, I took advantage of eating every taco in sight...sometimes even three times a day!
The results:
Best al pastor taco: Taco Sinaloa truck on 8th & Ardmore-Korea town, Los Angeles
Best carne asada: Las Asadas on 2045 N. Western, Chicago
Best fish tacos: Big Star-Chicago (although lamb used to be my fav there, not on the menu anymore!)

Most tasty tacos: Korean Kogi tacos@ Alibi in Los Angeles (they have the original Kogi tacos on the menu!)

Best burrito bowl/taco salad: Chipotle!!!
Not so hot, but popular: El Taurino, Los Angeles (they charge $.44 for limes!)

below: inside alibi, if you don't want to chase down the kogi truck, this is your best bet...and they have an amazing beer list!

last but not least: chicken burrito bowl @ chipotle...i think i seriously missed this the most!!!
